General Would you like a Rise of Nations remaster?

Rise of Nations remains one of the best rts games that I've played. When it comes to having a remastered of the game, is it something that you will be excited about? Which you want the 2d or 3d to be remastered?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of remakes and remasters unless they are going to do it well because most of the time, they end up making a mess of a game especially with a remake. But I wouldn't mind having a remaster of Rise of Nations.

Rise of Nations was a peak balance between history and gameplay. It's not too cartoonish and not too overwhelming either. But I go for 3D remaster with a modern UI but they must keep the original mechanics intact too.

I agree with this, but let's zoom things out a little. A remaster of Rise of Nations will only works if they understand why the original worked. It wasn’t all about the history alone . It was the economic pacing, territory borders, and how the military pressure was tied directly to your expansion. That balance was rare.
