Tactical Speedbump
I just remembered an Age of Empires match where my cavalry got stuck behind one tiny tree and i nearly lost my mind. Why was pathfinding so terrible back then? You command soldiers to attack and suddenly they start trekking around the whole map. But somehow we still loved those games more than modern ones. Nowadays, games are smoother but less memorable. Even with all today’s advanced tech, some developers still struggle with unit movement.
