I recommended an entry-level strategy games to a friend and I started rethinking my own choices 😅. Games like simple city builders or beginner RTS titles still make sense for learning the basics. Things like resource management, positioning and timing are easier to grasp there. Jumping straight into complex strategy games can overwhelm a beginner. So it’s better to start small and build up gradually instead of rushing into advanced ones. What do you think?

I actually feel starting “too simple” can spoil your mindset. Not everybody needs baby steps. I tried that with a friend. I introduced him to a basic city builder, he got bored so quickly. When I moved him straight to something deeper, that’s when the interest came. Sometimes challenges can hook you more.
