General Is "walling off" your base a cheap tactic or a smart one?

Walling off is a very smart tactic. People only complain because they can't break through quickly Strategy games are about using your brain. If somebody leaves an open path into their base carelessly, that’s their problem. Good wall placement can completely change the momentum. Especially against players who do not have patience. Although some people build walls like a prison yard honestly. You’ll spend 15 minutes just trying to enter their base.

People only call walling “cheap” when their early rush fails badly . If a game gives me walls, I will use it because it’s supposed to be a strategy game of course. Patience is very scarce in gaming these days. Everybody just wants quick victory.
