General Gamers Have Become Less Interested in Strategic Thinking and Planning

I was reading about gamers losing interest in strategy and planning games. Fast-paced games have taken over the scene people now prefer quick wins instead of long thinking sessions. Even the attention span has generally reduced. Sitting down for a long time is not appealing like before

I don't fully agree because gamers never lose interest, they just move to where there is enjoyment. If RTS is interesting like before, people will never abandon it. If the devs can adapt, people will surely come back.
