General Do you prefer "turtling" (building big defenses) or rushing the enemy?

One base only in RTS nowadays is an invitation for heartbreak . I learned that lesson after one painful match years ago. The enemy destroyed my only resource area and i was finished instantly. Multiple smaller bases just makes more sense to me. Even if one falls, you still have some backup. Diversify everything But managing many bases can stress you too, especially when the enemies start attacking from different corners. I once forgot one expansion base completely for almost 20 minutes. By the time I remembered, the enemy had already turned it into dust.

Relying on one base in RTS is gambling with your blood pressure Once the enemy discovers your main resource spot, the match has ended. I learned about diversification from RTS. Multiple bases may stress you, but at least you still have a backup plan. Though managing many locations during laggy internet is not easy for players.
