Auto-resolve is a lifesaver I swear. Some days I just want to relax, not to be calculating every move like I am writing exam. The manual control is sweet, no doubt, but sometimes I just want to tap the auto and move on. In a nutshell, balance is very important.
People act like using it means you’re a lazy gamer. I just want to progress with peace of mind. But I won't lie, some games cheat with the auto-resolve. You could take the elite squad into a battle and come back with half your army dead for no reason. That one is very painful.
