General If you were a commander, would you be aggressive or defensive?

It's been a while i've been replaying skirmish matches and i realised something, if i was a commander, I’d definitely be aggressive. Sitting back and defending forever just stresses me out. Once I was able to gather a small army, I would move immediately. The funny thing is that I usually regret it when enemy counterattack . My cousin prefers defensive strategy and the guy wins more than me honestly.

Your cousin is playing the long game. I always think I'll be aggressive too until one hidden enemy force wipes everything I've built . I attack only when I know what is waiting for me. The funny part is that defensive players look boring but they usually end up winning.
