General How can I choose my next strategy game?

I was browsing Steam last night trying to choose my next strategy game, but there are too many options and it's confusing . So, I prefer to check reviews and gameplay style before committing myself. Some games look nice but once you get into it, you could be disappointed. I prefer something with depth but still smooth to learn. Choosing the right one feels like tedious work on its own honestly.

Reviews are not like it used to be. Half of them are sponsored . What worked for me was watching the raw gameplay. If it doesn't hook me in 10 minutes, then, it's not for me.
