General Do You Finish Games, or Just Move On?

How many games have you finished so far this year? One, two, any? Sometimes it's down to the game design. Most open-world, live-service games never end (I'm looking at you Destiny 2!) and that can steal any sense of accomplishment someone like me gets from games.

I have replayed Portal and Portal 2 this year - I'd love to see Valve make Portal 3 - or Half-Life 3 PLEASE! These are games with a beginning and, importantly, an ending. I like to know there's an ending. Otherwise, what's the point?

I have given up on finishing games especially if it starts to drag. Back then I used to chase the game endings like it was a trophy, now I don't do that anymore. If a game doesn't respect my time, I won't respect it either.

Some people are still forcing themselves to complete games. For me, I don't have that kind of strength again. Once the enjoyment drops below 50%, I’ll uninstall straightaway. I prefer short games that are sharp and meaningful.
