I have done this one many times 😂 sometimes I do not even care about winning again, it's just to explore the maps. Gaming is really an escape and sometimes it's the journey that wins more.
Friendly tips is everything for beginners. I was literally shocked when a game was guiding me like it understand my struggle.🤣 No big grammar, it was just clear steps. Compared to others that are so tedious to comprehend. With how attention span has reduce now, simple instructions wins.
I want a quick match, win or lose and move on. I tried one long campaign last month, I didn't even reach halfway. I don't think I have that patience again.
Aesthetics can deceive you😂 I downloaded one fine TBS game too, the graphics was clean but the gameplay was a huge confusion. This is exactly why I stopped judging games by looks.
Auto-save is a must for me.😅 . I learned my lesson when I lost everything. Since then, any game that doesn't have a solid save system, I don't even bother myself going near them. With how things are unpredictable here, simple save is not a luxury.
Any game that respect my time, I salute them 😄 I remembered a gameplaying during break one time, I later close it and came back to it later. That kind of feature is a lifesaver.
That's true! Those small sound effects are underrated no doubt. That “click” or attack sound would give you some kind of satisfaction. I remember one game that I lowered the volume of the music just to hear the moves clearly. It was so interesting! Sometimes those tiny details dey make you stay...
That little story is what would hook you more sometimes 😅 I wont lie, I once continued one boring TBS game just because I wanted to see what would happen next. So that small escape matter. But they shouldn't over do it.
These “figure it out yourself” games is a big punishment in disguise 😄 I don't think I have that strength again. I just want a clear direction, no long story. With everything going on here now, my brain is already filled up. I was literally playing one confusing game last week, I just deleted...
That combo is the real vibe 😂. Sometimes I mute the game music completely. I just run my own playlist and the whole thing just feel fresh. These TBS devs put a boring soundtrack sometimes in their games..
I understand that feeling so much 😂 Reaching turn 4 can feel like an achievement of the year. The first time I try the TBS, the enemy nearly wipe me instantly I was just guessing the moves. When I survive it, I just lean back like a champion 😂.
That “enemy turn” confusion is a real issue 😂 I played one game that I don't even know when is my turn again. I was just pressing randomly. For beginners, that thing can discourage you. Not everybody has the patience to decode nonsense UI. with how apps dey misbehave like some
The team control is too stressful. I prefer one strong hero that I can focus on. All those multiple units, strategy here and there, my brain might not be able to comprehend that level again 😂 because of life responsibilities. Those big team setups feel like an office work. 🤣
Music can be a significant part of the game. 😂 I played a game just because of the calm background sound, even when I lose, I still feel fulfilled. After long day, that kind of soft tune can reset our brain a little. Sometimes gameplay doesn't even matter.
Those long tutorials can be very annoying more than anything. I downloaded one game, before I started, they already gave me some lecture. I just deleted it. I don't have the strength for extra stress.
I hardly read those long descriptions. 😂 I just pressed the buttons and observed what works. Funny thing is I still win some matches like that. With how work is stressful who actually have that patience? If game is too complex, I leave immediately. It should be something I can pick and enjoy...
Customizing names is where the real fun is. I did one like that too and those small touches makes the game feel very personal. With all the stress we go through everyday, sometimes those funny names can even cheer you up.
That first kill feeling is not joke at all 😂 I remember one game I played last year, I fail like 4 times straight. I nearly uninstall it, then one lucky move occured and it wiped the enemy unit. I shouted like I won a bet. It wwa a big surprise.
One hand gameplay is a life saver. I played a TBS on my phone, I was tapping with one hand while fanning myself 😂 that slow pace calms my mind. All these fast games that require full focus is not my thing. I just want something simple that would relax me, not give me headache.
